Have you ever had that feeling that you want to do something that will save lives but didn’t know how to get started? Do you enjoy working with the community and positively impacting many lives? Do you find it rewarding when others are able to learn from your experience? Maybe your company is required to have trained First Aid and CPR personnel and you want to have a trainer on site. We have an opportunity for you.
The American Red Cross will be offering First Aid, CPR and AED for the Workplace, Schools and the Community Instructor Course November 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night. Attendance each night is required for certification. The cost for this course is $150.00 per student. Applicants need to be certified in First Aid and CPR prior to the start of this Instructor Course. Prior experience in teaching is not required.
The course includes the Red Cross Course, “Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT)” and all instructor materials required to begin teaching First Aid, CPR and AED upon certification.
