From Sept. 28, 1972: Gary Chatman, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Chatman, has been named FFA member of the month of September. He was chosen because of his high individual scores for the Taylorsville Chapter Dairy Judging Team, which tied for second in the state contest. Gary was also third high scorer in the state contest. He attend the Mid-South Fair in Memphis, Tenn., last Monday as a member of the state Dairy Judging Team. Gary is also a member of the Beta Club, Explorer’s Club and Pep Club.
