The Spencer County Baseball Bears opened their season last week with three losses, but bounced back Saturday, taking a double-header over Louisville Doss.

The boys ushered in their season at home on Tuesday, dropping a 6-3 decision to Bethlehem. On Tuesday, they hosted Kentucky Country Day and fell 4-2 and then lost 12-0 to Bullitt Central on Thursday.

The Bears finished off their season-opening home-stand with a double-header against Doss, winning the first one 16-1, and the second game 12-6.

Monday’s game at Bardstown was canceled and the Bears were slated to travel to Louisville Seneca on Tuesday.

They are scheduled to be back home on Thursday for a 5:30 p.m. matchup with Western Hills and will travel to Florida next week.
