Taylorsville would be one of three in Kentucky
Rep. Brad Montell has filed a bill that would give three Kentucky cities the ability to regulate the sale and fees on alcohol without going through the process of becoming a fourth class city.
House bill 361 states that any fifth class city that is the county seat of a wet county:
• is required to create an office of alcoholic beverage control administrator;
• allowed to hold a local option election for the sale of distilled spirits or wine by the drink;
