Free small business counseling

In partnership with the Small Business Development Center, the Chamber of Commerce is able to bring members free, personalized, one-on-one business counseling.

This event will take place Monday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the  Chamber of Commerce building.

Consultations are private and on a first come-first serve basis so sign up today by emailing clewis@tpbtaylorsville.com or calling Cara Lewis at 477-2244.

Job fairs

Two Louisville area job fairs to be hosted in March have been rescheduled. The dates and locations of the rescheduled job fairs are listed as follows:

• March 11, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Shelby County Public Library Job Fair, 8th St., Shelbyville (was March 4)

• March 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Oldham County Public Library Job Fair, 308 Yager Ave., LaGrange  (was March 24)

All job fairs are free and open to the public. Chamber luncheon

The topic for the March 11 Chamber luncheon is “Networking Techniques” by Beth Ann Kovacs, vice president of Business Development with CUB.
