Finchville Baptist to host cantata
The adult choir at Finchville Baptist Church in Finchville will present the cantata, “Our King Has Come,” tonight at 7. A fellowship meal is planned beforehand at 5 p.m. The community is invited.

Risen Lord hosts Christmas Eve service
Risen Lord Lutheran Church is hosting a Community Christmas Eve Candlelight service at Risen Lord Lutheran church. The service will be at 7 p.m. and will include favorite Christmas carols with a reading of the Christmas story. The church is located at 5138 Taylorsville Road across from the Elk Creek grocery/gas station. For more information call 502-477-6557.

Little Mount Baptist to host Christmas cantata Sunday
Little Mount Baptist Church is hosting its Christmas cantata this Sunday during the 10:45 a.m. service. The community is invited to attend and the choir is led by Debbie Tankersley.

First Christian announces Christmas Eve candlelight service

First Christian Church of Taylorsville will hold its annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 5 p.m.
Zach Driscoll will be the guest musician and the church will serve Communion, open to all believers.
The community is invited.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings at First Christian
Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held at First Christian Church weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, at King’s Baptist Church, will meet Mondays at 6 p.m. with Solid Rock Cafe at 5:45 p.m. Child care is provided.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based eight-step recovery program. Anyone struggling with an addiction, unwanted habit or hurt is encouraged to attend.

Al-Anon meetings are each Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville United Methodist Church, 175 W. Main St.

AA meetings at three locations
The following AA meetings are offered locally:
• Each Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 410 Main Cross.
• Each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension Office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
• Each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
