Cumbos to host gospel sing
The Cumbos Old Gospel Barn, located at 11286 Louisville Road, in Cox’s Creek will host a gospel sing Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Featured guests are The Samaritans, The Sheltons and The Cumbos.
The event is free and open to the public.

VBS at Finchville Baptist
Finchville Baptist Church will host vacation Bible school June 2-6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.
The theme is “Kingdom Rock.”

First Baptist announces VBS
Vacation Bible school at First Baptist Church in Taylorsville will be June 3-7 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The church is located at 115 W. Main St.
Children from age 2 to new seventh-graders are invited to join in learning about “Facing fear, trusting God at Colossal Coaster World.”
Older youth are invited to participate as “ride assistants” and helpers.

New Hope Tabernacle to host VBS
New Hope Tabernacle will host vacation Bible school June 3-6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on a Friday commencement ceremony June 7 at 7 p.m.
This year’s theme is “God’s Orchard: The Fruit of the Spirit.”
New Hope’s pastor is Joe Vires.
VBS is open to children ages 4-12.

Tri-County Baptist Mission announces services
Tri-County Baptist Mission, located at 121 Cooper Lane in Mount Eden, will host weekly services on Sundays at 11 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held at First Christian Church weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, at Ridgeview Baptist Church, will meet Tuesdays, with Solid Rock Cafe at 6 p.m. and meetings begin at 6:30. Child care is provided.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based eight-step recovery program. Anyone struggling with an addiction, unwanted habit or hurt is encouraged to attend.

Mission for Christ plans worship at Signature
The Mission for Christ will be ministering in word and song at Signature Health Care on the first Thursday of each month. The community is invited. C.L. Glasscock is pastor.

Al-Anon meetings
at Methodist church
Al-Anon meetings are each Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville United Methodist Church, 175 W. Main St.

Women’s AA meeting
A women’s AA meeting is planned for Saturdays from 5 to 6 p.m. at 99 Mobile Drive. This is the same meeting previously held at Spencer Christian Church. However, the location has changed.
The format of the meeting is closed, with discussion, organizers said.

AA meetings at three locations
The following AA meetings are offered locally:
• Each Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 410 Main Cross.
• Each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension Office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
• Each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension office, 100 Oak Tree Way.

Wednesday night activities at First Baptist
First Baptist Church of Taylorsville hosts an array of Christ-centered family activities on Wednesday nights starting with a free family meal at 6:30 p.m. Adult prayer meeting and Bible study starts at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
