Knights of Columbus plan open meeting
The Knights of Columbus – All Saints Council will host an open meeting tonight at 7:30. The guest speaker will be Martine Bacci Siegel RN MSN CNS, who serves as the director of counseling services and victim assistance coordinator for the Archdiocese of Louisville. She will address depression and bi-polarism and how it affects family and friends. A light meal and refreshments will be served.

Chicken dinner at All Saints
The Knights of Columbus – All Saints Council in Taylorsville announces an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at All Saints Church on Main Cross in Taylorsville.
The meal features broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, butter noodles and all kinds of desserts. The dinner is on the third Sunday of each month at the same time. Drink and dessert are included.
The cost for adults is $8; children ages 4-12, $4; and children 3 and under eat free.
Carry out orders are available. Proceeds go to the All Saints Council of the Knights of Columbus to fund charitable work.

Ministerial association to meet
Are you a pastor or minister serving or living in Spencer County? Then you are invited to attend the next meeting of the Spencer County Ministerial Association. The next meeting is at CUB Bank in Taylorsville at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings at First Christian
Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held at First Christian Church weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, at Ridgeview Baptist Church, will meet Tuesdays, with Solid Rock Cafe at 6 p.m. and meetings begin at 6:30. Child care is provided.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based eight-step recovery program. Anyone struggling with an addiction, unwanted habit or hurt is encouraged to attend.

Al-Anon meetings at Methodist church
Al-Anon meetings are each Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville United Methodist Church, 175 W. Main St.

AA meetings at three locations
The following AA meetings are offered locally:
• Each Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 410 Main Cross.
• Each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension Office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
• Each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension office, 100 Oak Tree Way.

Revival at Promise Land Church
Promise Land Church at 1146 Cecil Noel Road is hosting a revival Sunday through Tuesday at 7 p.m. nightly.
Bro. Kenneth Copeland will bring the message and the community is invited to attend.

FBC to host Fall Family Fun Fest
First Baptist Church of Taylorsville is hosting its annual Fall Family Fun Fest as a Christ-centered Halloween alternative event during Trick-or-Treat on Main Street, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m.
Trick or treaters and their families are encouraged to come to the church at 115. W. Main St. where children can enjoy free games, candy, food and fellowship.
