New Year’s Eve

Sing and Pray-in

The Old Gospel Barn, located at located at 11286 Louisville Road (Hwy 31E), Cox’s Creek, will be having a special New Year’s Eve sing and pray-in 7:30 p.m. Performances will by Common Creek Band, Nichols Church Band, Heart and Soul Trio, the Cumbos, and more. Please bring a covered dish for a time of fellowship and don’t forget you’re to bring your family and friends. Admission is free.

Grief recovery program registration extended

The registration deadline for a grief recovery program at Parkland Hills Baptist Church has been extended. Anyone wanting to sign up for Grief Share should register by December 28. The new start date of the program will be January 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Registration fee is $20 and includes workbook, materials, and resources. Childcare is also available. Visit www.parklandhills.org, or call 477-2222, to register today and begin the journey from mourning to joy.

Winter clothing drive

This year, help those less fortunate by donating new or used coats, blankets, hats, gloves, or any warm items to Parkland Hills Baptist Church’s winter clothing drive. Donations can be dropped off at the church, or call Judy Bentley at 477-8249 and she will gladly come pick up items at your home.

English classes at

Parkland Hills

Parkland Hills Baptist Church, located at 9614 Taylorsville Road near the Spencer-Jefferson county line, offers a free “English As a Second Language” (ESL) class each Sunday evening at 6 p.m. For more information about this program, please call the church at 477-2222.

Lighthouse Baptist Church offers van service every Sunday morning between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.. For pick-up, call 477-8600.

Family Ministry Program

Plum Creek Baptist Church invites you to attend their Family Ministry Program Sunday, January 4 at 5:45 p.m. beginning with a family meal.

Following the meal are a variety of activities for children and adults, including: FaithWeavers, a children’s ministry curriculum, youth programming, adult Bible study and prayer meeting.

Plum Creek Baptist Church is located at the corner of Hwy. 44 and Plum Creek Road in Waterford.
