FCA to host Go Tell event

The Spencer County Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold their Go Tell event on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the high school gymnasium. Robert Palmer, a ministry consultant for Crossings Camp will be the speaker, with several students also taking an active part in the event.

Mid-week Bible Study at Risen Lord Lutheran Church

Risen Lord Lutheran Church is having a Mid-Week Bible Study each Wednesday starting at 7 p.m. The church is located at 5138 Taylorsville Rd, Taylorsville, KY.  If you have any questions please contact the church at 477-6557.

Knights of Columbus Chicken Dinner

The Knights of Columbus–All Saints Council in Taylorsville invites you to their all-you-can-eat chicken dinner on Sunday, April 23rd from noon until they run out.  They’re located at All Saints Church on Main Cross in Taylorsville.  They feature broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, butter noodles, and all kinds of desserts.  They have their dinner the 3rd Sunday of each month at the same time.   Drink and dessert are included.  Prices range from $9 for adult, $8 for seniors, $4.50 for children 4-12, and children 3 and under are free.  Eight piece boxes of chicken to go are also available for $10.  Proceeds go to the All Saints Council of the Knights of Columbus to fund their charitable work.

Revival services at Van Buren Baptist

Van Buren Baptist Church has invited the Cross-Tithes Evangelistic Group to come and hold morning services on Sunday April 23 at 11 a.m.

Van Buren Baptist Church will be holding Revival Services April 28-30, with Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday Services at 11 a.m. On Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. there will be a dessert fellowship before the service and on Sunday after worship service there will be a potluck meal.   Bro. Eugene Hoffman, award winning soloist and former member of the Patriot Quartet will be the guest speaker and will provide special music for each service. The church is located at 1488 Fairmont Road, Lawrenceburg, KY.  Fairmont Road is on Highway 3358 and is off of US 62 and US 248, about five miles from Chaplin. Contact: Bro. Al-Anon meetings are held each Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville United Methodist Church, 145 W. Main St.
