Spencer Christian hosts community Easter service
Spencer Christian Church invites the community to its community-wide Easter Sunday Service at Spencer County High School on April 20, 10 a.m. There will be a nursery and children’s programs for kids through second grade.

Bethlehem Baptist to host Easter Celebration
Bethlehem Baptist Church at 1286 Briar Ridge Road is hosting a community Easter Celebration April 19 at 11 a.m. The event will include an egg hunt, prizes, food and fun.

Plum Creek to start offering two morning worship services
Plum Creek Baptist Church is now hosting two morning worship services, one at 8:30 and one at 11. Sunday School will begin at 9:50 a.m. and end at 10:40 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Plum Creek Baptist is located at Ky. 44 and Plum Creek Road in Waterford.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, at King’s Baptist Church, will meet Mondays at 6 p.m. with Solid Rock Cafe at 5:45 p.m. Child care is provided.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christian-based eight-step recovery program. Anyone struggling with an addiction, unwanted habit or hurt is encouraged to attend.

Elk Creek Baptist hosts egg hunt
Elk Creek Baptist Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday at noon for ages 1-11. Kids can hunt for eggs, eat lunch and get a free picture with the Easter Bunny.
AA meetings at three locations
The following AA meetings are offered locally:
• Each Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 410 Main Cross.
• Each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension Office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
• Each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension office, 100 Oak Tree Way.

Ministerial Association hosts Good Friday, Sunrise services this week
The Spencer County Ministerial Association is sponsoring two services over Easter weekend.
The first service is the annual Good Friday Service. It will be held at noon on April 18 at Grace Chapel in Taylorsville. Pastor Charley Hatfield from Taylorsville United Methodist Church will be bringing the message.
The Ministerial Association’s Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Taylorsville UMC on Main Street in Taylorsville at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 20. Pastor Tom Sparrow from Wakefield Baptist will bring the message.
Offerings will be received at both services which will support the benevolence efforts of the Ministerial Association. Since January, the Ministerial Association has helped 12 families with over $1,600 worth of assistance.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings at First Christian
Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held at First Christian Church weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
