Plum Creek Baptist Church to host bible school
Plum Creek Baptist Church will be hosting a vacation bible school June 16 through June 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Plum Creek Baptist Church, Ky. 44 and Plum Creek Road, Waterford. Sign-in begins at 5:30 p.m., a commencement service will be June 22 at 6 p.m followed by an ice cream social. All children are welcome and the theme for the Bible school will be “Weird Animals – Where Jesus’ Love is One of a Kind.”

Wakefield Baptist Church to host bible school
Bible school will be conducted June 16 through June 20 from  6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening at  Wakefield Baptist Church, 5517 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville. Everyone is invited to participate. The theme for Bible school will be “Jesus Loves Me.”  

Second Baptist Church to host bible school
Second Baptist Church will be hosting a vacation bible school June 23 through 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 401 Jefferson Street, Taylorsville. The theme is “The Jesus Connection… what a friend.” Preschool age to adults are welcome to attend.

Al-Anon meetings at Methodist church
Al-Anon meetings are each Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville United Methodist Church, 175 W. Main St.

AA meetings at three locations
The following AA meetings are offered locally:
• Each Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 410 Main Cross.
• Each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension Office, 100 Oak Tree Way.
• Each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer County Extension office, 100 Oak Tree Way.

Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Taylorsville
First Baptist Church is hosting Vacation Bible School June 16-20 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Children ages 2 through completed sixth graders are encouraged to come to this year’s Agency D3 VBS where kids will discover, decide, and defend faith in Jesus Christ. According to Lifeway Christian Resource’s website, kids will “trace it back to just the facts. The evidence is clear. The proof is all right here. Come discover, decide, and defend the truth about who Jesus really is at Agency D3.”
Transportation by the church van is available for those in need. Please call 477-8197 to schedule a pickup/drop off or for additional information.

Finchville Baptist to host VBS June 20-24
Finchville Baptist Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School June 20-24 from 6:15 until 8:30 p.m. with the exception of Sunday, June 20, when the church will have its family kick-off beginning at 4:30 p.m.
VBS is open to infants through adults and this year’s theme is Agency D3 - Discover, Decide, Defend.
