Plum Creek hosts Bible school this week
Plum Creek Baptist Church will be hosting a vacation bible school through Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Plum Creek Baptist Church, Ky. 44 and Plum Creek Road, Waterford. Sign-in begins at 5:30 p.m., and a commencement service will be June 22 at 6 p.m. followed by an ice cream social. All children are welcome and the theme for the Bible school is “Weird Animals — Where Jesus’ love is one of a kind.”

Wakefield Baptist Church Bible school this week
Bible school will be conducted through Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening at Wakefield Baptist Church, 5517 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville. Everyone is invited to participate. The theme for Bible school is “Jesus Loves Me.”

Second Baptist Church to host bible school
Second Baptist Church will be hosting a vacation bible school June 23 through 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 401 Jefferson Street, Taylorsville. The theme is “The Jesus Connection — What a friend.” Preschool age to adults are welcome to attend.
Elk Creek Baptist Church welcomes youth group
Elk Creek Baptist Church will be hosting Bro. Bill Kennedy and his youth group from Savannah, Tennessee to lead the church in worship services June 22 at 11 a.m. Kennedy’s group will begin their week at Elk Creek before traveling to northern Kentucky to host a backyard bible club. Youth pastors and their groups are specially invited to support this youth event.

VBS at First Baptist Taylorsville this week
First Baptist Church is hosting Vacation Bible School through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon.
Children ages 2 through completed sixth graders are encouraged to come to this year’s Agency D3 VBS where kids will discover, decide, and defend faith in Jesus Christ. According to Lifeway Christian Resource’s website, kids will “trace it back to just the facts. The evidence is clear. The proof is all right here. Come discover, decide, and defend the truth about who Jesus really is at Agency D3.”
