The costs associated with many of the improvements to downtown Taylorsville has resulted in a little money juggling at City Hall.
After adding up all the street repair and maintenance costs associated with new signs, tree removals, sidewalk installations, drainage repairs and paving – the city is about $249,000 over what commissioners budgeted to spend for 2009-10. The original amount set to spend on community street projects this fiscal year was $118,000.
