On Saturday, June 4, the Spencer County 4-H Horse Club, the “Trailblazers”, attended the District 3 Horse Show at Lakeside Arena in Frankfort.  District is a regional pre-qualifying competition for the 4-H State Horse Show in July.

On this Saturday, Kelsey Bishop and Scott Jeppson both participated in the Western Pleasure Division.  Kelsey took home the honors of 6th in showmanship, 4th in horsemanship, and 2nd in western pleasure for Division 2.  Scott received 1st in horsemanship, 1st in western pleasure, and 3rd in Showmanship for Division 1.  Scott Jeppson was named the Reserve High Point Exhibitor for Division 1, which is quite the honor!  Congratulations to both of these 4-H members for representing Spencer County 4-H so well and for qualifying for the State 4-H Horse Show.
Thank you to Shannon Bishop for her dedication as the Trailblazers club leader!
Good luck to Kelsey and Scott, who will be competing in the State 4-H Horse Show the first week in July!
