If Kentucky’s General Assembly considers a bill that would allow Taylorsville to become a fourth-class city, that bill will have the unanimous support of the Taylorsville City Commission.
The new commission, which with its current members, Jack Proctor, Beverly Ingram, Kathy Spears, Ellen Redmon and Mayor Don Pay, met for the first time last Tuesday, voted unanimously to send a resolution to the General Assembly in favor of reclassifying Taylorsville from a fifth-class city to a fourth-class city.
