County’s civil case against previous county clerk returns to court Thursday

A lawsuit in which the county is working to recoup thousands of dollars from past county clerk Judy Puckett is scheduled for a hearing in Spencer Circuit Court Thursday morning.
A 2010 audit conducted by previous state auditor Crit Luallen’s office identified $64,717 that Puckett needed to pay back in undeposited receipts, disallowed expenditures and personal non-sufficient fund checks.
