Margaret Glasford hosted her 15th annual Christmas party just prior to the holiday season.
“It’s a fun family tradition,” Glasford said. “Everyone either bakes their cookies at home and brings them to share, or they bake cookies at the party.”
Sugar cookies are the favorite, so the group baked and decorated over 200 of them. This year, many of the sugar cookies were baked ahead of time, she said, “so the little ones could start decorating as soon as they arrived at the party.”
“We eat, exchange gifts and at the end of the evening, everyone leaves with a wonderful assortment of holiday cookies,” Glasford said.
This year’s guest list consisted of Glasford’s sisters, Patty Welby, Mary Lou Vest, Cathy Cook and Pam Gregg; her sisters-in-law, Stephanie Vest and Kim Vest; her daughters, Kristina Groemling and Amanda Brooks; her daughter-in-law, Paula Glasford; granddaughters, Reese Brooks and Chloe Groemling; nieces, Amy Vest, Michelle Allen, Shyanne Vest and Chrystal Vest; her great nieces, Brittlynn Vest, Shailee Vest, Isabella Pierce, Kayla Vest, Ally Vest and Naomi Vest; and her cousins, Karen Ford and Tina Goetzinger.
