The following case was heard by Judge Matthew Eckert in Spencer District Court on June 15, 2012:

Felony:
Valentin Dominguez (1989), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs aggravator first offense, guilty, 30 days jail, 120 days suspended operators license, $728 fine, alcohol and drug education program; first-degree wanton endangerment, amended to wanton endangerment second, guilty, 365 days conditionally discharged for two years.

Tyler W. Brewer (1993), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine paid.

Jacob M. Clawson (1991), speeding 16 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Michael E. Gilpin (1980), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine.

Nellie R. Vance (1984), seat belt anchor, guilty, $25 fine paid.

William L. Arnold (1972), speeding 26 miles over or greater, guilty; operating in on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $223 in fines and court costs, to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Rickie G. Brewer Jr. (1977), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, guilty, $243 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Corey M. Clyburn (1994), no operator’s/moped license, guilty, sentenced to 30 days conditionally discharged for two years, Kentucky Alternative Program, $193 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Christopher Coyle (1987), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine paid.

Elizabeth A. Downs (1978), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine paid.

Paul D. Eaton (1976), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $173 in court costs and fines paid.

Roy W. Flippins (1964), no/expired registration plates, guilty, $20 fine; failure of owner to maintain required insurances/second or greater offense, guilty, $1,000 fine, $900 conditionally discharged, $143 court costs. All fines/costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Timothy D. Hemmer (1981), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine paid.

Chad Hughes (1984), speeding 25 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs paid.

James H. King Sr. (1973), failure to produce insurance card, amended to failure to maintain insurance, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged; $243 in court costs/fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Steven R. Still (1966), speeding 17 miles over the legal limit, guilty; failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $202 in court costs/fines paid.

Donald T. Valley (1982), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $163 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

John W. White Jr. (1956), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Russell W. Wise (1982), speeding 16 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.  

Misdemeanor:
Jesse M. Wyatt (1982), buy/possess drug paraphernalia, guilty, $253 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Bruce L. Ernspiker (1952), fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, guilty, 180 days conditionally discharged for two years, Kentucky Alternative Program, no contact with victim, $153 in court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Tracy L. Keeling (1968), three counts of theft by deception to include cold checks under $500, guilty on all three counts; $183 in costs to be paid plus $450 restitution to victim.  

Victoria A. Klotz (1993), possession of alcoholic beverages by a minor, guilty, $20 fine; resident fishing without a license/permit, guilty, $50 fine, $153 court costs. All costs/fines paid.

Anna C. Spalding (1992), possession of alcoholic beverages by a minor, guilty; resident fishing without a license/permit, guilty, $223 in fines/court costs paid.

Lisa R. Thompson (1968), alcohol intoxication in a public place first and second offense, guilty, $178 in court costs and fines to be paid in installments/deferred payment.  

Duane A. Vanrisseghem (1957), possession of marijuana, guilty, drug course required; buy/possess drug paraphernalia, guilty, $353 in court costs/fines plus $100 to DIF paid today.

Houston D. Ward (1993), person 18-20 possess/purchase/attempt to purchase/have another purchase alcohol, guilty; resident fishing without a license, guilty, $223 in court costs/fines paid.

Ryan D. Woods (1992), possession of alcoholic beverages by a minor, guilty, $178 in court costs/fines paid.

Felony:
Michael L. Hack (1993), theft by unlawful taking/disp-all others, amended to theft by unlawful taking under $500, guilty, 365 days conditionally discharged for two years, Kentucky Alternative Program, no contact with victim, $153 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.
