Judge Tom Lively heard the following cases in Spencer District Court March 21, 2014:

Traffic:
Haley B. Adcock (1994), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs.

Mary Christine Paslick (1949), speeding 23 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $143 court costs paid.

Stephen M. Eifler Jr. (1988), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and court costs.

Derek J. Johnson (1984), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs aggravator first offense, amended to DUI first no aggravator, $200 fine and $753 court costs, 30 days suspended license, alcohol and drug education program.

Alicia Lewis (1992), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine; no operator’s/moped license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine; failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance first, guilty, $500 fine.

James F. Payne Jr. (1969), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, amended to defective equipment, guilty, $100 fine and court costs.

Crystal Peyton (1981), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged for one year, $143 court costs.

Misdemeanor:
Vicki L. Heinz (1969), violation of a local county ordinance, guilty, $100 fine and $153 court costs.

Timothy E. Underwood (1992), possession of a synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines, guilty, $100 fine, $100 to the drug intervention fund, $153 court costs.

Matthew R. Waits (1987), possession of marijuana, guilty, $100 fine, $150 to the drug intervention fund, $153 court costs.

James William Booher Jr. (1985), speeding 26 miles over the legal limit or greater, guilty, $60 fine and court costs.

Norman A. Fultz (1958), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs.

Tina M. Gott (1968), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged with insurance monitoring.

David B. Gregory Jr. (1978), failure of owner to maintain required insurance second or greater offense, guilty, $1,000 fine, $900 conditionally discharged with insurance monitoring, $143 court costs.

Benjamin Joseph Hulsman (1991), speeding 26 miles over the legal limit or greater, guilty, $60 fine and court costs.

Fred S. Michael T. Mitchell (1986), theft by unlawful taking disp. All others under $500, guilty, sentenced to 30 days conditionally discharged for two years, Kentucky Alternative Program, $50 restitution, $153 court costs.

Joshua Pate (1981), violation of local county ordinance, guilty, $100 fine and $153 court costs.

Zachary Tindle (1996), truancy – student 18 but not yet 21, guilty, $4,250 fine, $4,000 conditionally discharged.

Kandace Barkham (1991), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $728 fine, 30 days suspended operator’s license, alcohol and drug education program.
