District to have tech center under high school’s roof as early as next school year

Spencer County High School is on track to launch a career and technical school within its walls as soon as next school year, if all goes according to current plans.
That is an exciting development for the district, which currently is forced to bus students interested in technical education and earning numerous industry certificates, such as health sciences or information technology, to tech school campuses in neighboring Bullitt and Shelby counties.
