Reeser graduates from Murray State
Danielle N. Reeser graduated cum laude from Murray State University on May 12.
She received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture.
Reeser is a 2008 graduate of Spencer County High School and is the daughter of Richard  and Linda Reeser of Fisherville.
She has accepted a teaching position at Ballard Memorial High School in Barlow.

UK announces Spring dean’s list
The following Spencer County students were named to the University of Kentucky dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester:
Rachel Leigh Allgeier, freshman, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Education, secondary English education;
Taylor Ann Carden, sophomore, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, pre-journalism;
Brian Paul Garcia, senior, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in human nutrition;
Katherine Thomas Goetzinger, senior, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Education, elementary education;
James Knoer, sophomore, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in geography;
Alexander William Paige, junior, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in forestry;
Alex Eugenia Poole, sophomore, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in human nutrition;
Samantha Jane Rhind, freshman, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in merchandising, apparel and textiles;
Katrina Ann Sherwood, freshman, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in equine science and management;
Lindsey Katherine Vowels, senior, pursing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and
Samantha L. Warford, freshman, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
To make a dean’s list in one of the UK colleges, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and must have earned 12 credits or more in that semester, excluding credits earned in pass-fail classes.  Some UK colleges require a 3.5 GPA to make the dean’s list.
