Fair board struggles to find pageant entries

The deadline to enter the Miss Spencer County, Miss Teen Spencer County, Miss Preteen Spencer County and Little Miss and Mister Spencer County Fair pageants has been extended through Wednesday, July 18, in an effort to drum up more participation, organizers said.
Pageant organizers Tammy Snider and Debbie Herndon have received registration forms for a total of eight participants across the four pageants, Snider said.
