 The other night my wife was leading our kids through a nativity set that deals with the question: “What does God want for Christmas?”  

The kids’ guesses to that question ranged from “God wants a great big hug” to “God wants my brother.”  They followed along with fidgety attention as they opened boxes containing different figures involved in the story of Christ at the innkeeper’s stable.  And, when the last box was opened, they found a mirror that reflected what God wants for Christmas – them.
