Thirteen members of the Spencer County FCCLA chapter recently attended the 2010 National Leadership Meeting this past July. The conference was held in Chicago, Illinois and was designed with various leadership workshops and competitions to strengthen chapters and members from across the United States.
Twelve of Spencer County’s thirteen members represented Kentucky as state winners in their respective competitive events, all bringing home silver medals. Helisha Smith, a 2009-2010 Kentucky state officer, also represented Kentucky as a national officer candidate, the first for Spencer County’s chapter in over 10 years. Congratulations to the following members for their accomplishments:
