Taylorsville Lake’s Fourth of July fireworks show is now rescheduled for Saturday. The show was postponed from its original July 6 date because of rapidly increasing water levels, which eventually reached 17 feet above normal summertime levels.
Fireworks will be set off from the lake, and spectators can watch from the Taylorsville Lake State Park Ramp or Taylorsville Lake Marina’s parking area. The latter has been flooded in recent days, but organizers are hoping the parking lot will be available by July 27.
