Food drive to benefit Alabama tornado victims

Spencer County Elementary School is hosting a canned food drive to benefit victims of the recent tornadoes in Alabama.
The drive will be held at the school May 24 – June 1.
Items accepted will be non-perishable foods, toiletries, hygiene products, school supplies, baby items, household linens, unopened underwear and socks.
According to information provided by the school, donated goods will go directly to Alabama towns affected by the disaster.
Donations will be collected in the main hallway across from the school’s office.
