The Spencer County GOP held the grand opening of their headquarters Saturday. A large crowd enjoyed homemade ice cream and refreshments while speaking with candidates for state and local offices.
“It was truly exciting to see and visit with so many energized voters today. We plan to hold frequent events so that voters can get involved and discuss the issues on a regular basis,” said Lynn Hesselbrock, Spencer County GOP chairman.
“I thought that we made more than enough ice cream, but we nearly ran out! I heard that the peach and banana were the favorites,” said Bill Karrer, Republican candidate for judge executive.
The Spencer County Republican Party headquarters is located at 165 East Main Street.
