Grizzly football plans parent meeting, practice

Grizzly football is starting up again at Spencer County Middle School, and the coaches want to inform parents and students of a few important dates.
A parent meeting is planned in the school cafeteria tonight (Wednesday) at 6 p.m.
Equipment will be handed out on Friday at the first practice, which will be from 6 to 8 p.m.  The first full week of practice will begin Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and will continue thereafter.
The parent meeting will be an informative discussion of the season in general, and the coach’s expectations, said head coach Mike Jessee. This will include issues such as the required physical, the schedule, etc.
“Players, please pass the word out and bring a friend to Friday’s first practice,” Jessee said. “We, the coaches, are looking forward to another great season of Grizzly football.”
