Herndon attends FFA conference

Kentucky FFA State Sentinel Kevin Herndon, of Taylorsville, recently participated in the National Leadership Seminar for state officers in Springfield, Ill.

Herndon, 18, is the son of Doug and Carol Herndon.

During the four-day conference, state officers learned how to use motivation to create change in the lives of young people, achieve team leadership, discover and implement characteristics of a high-trust team, understand issues that face the National FFA organization, establish a state recruitment plan and learn effective presentation techniques.
