The EF Foundation recently recognized Spencer County High School for all of its efforts in working with Katharina and Thibault (T-bo) as exchange students this past school year.  In the picture with three people are Linda Goldy, school counselor, Robyn Baxter, vice principal and Katharina Meissneitzer, an exchange student from Austria.

The EF Foundation is searching for a host family to welcome Pablo, a 17-year-old student from northern Spain who is coming definitely in early August.  He already has a slot at SCHS, but is still in need of a caring family.  Anyone interested can contact Sally Crespo, at 477-1972, or EF Foundation at 1-800-447-4272. Pablos’s interests include martial arts, biking, and ice-hockey.  Crespo said he would make an excellent addition to any local family up for the adventure of sharing their lives this year.
