HISTORIC PATHWAYS: Thomas Crutcher Tavern, 173 years old
The red brick building on the southeast corner of Main and Point Streets in Taylorsville was known as the William Polk House when it was constructed some 173 years ago. Polk was the original owner of what became known as the Thomas Crutcher Tavern and then the David Black House.
