“I love this little town,” says David Young to his wife, Lorie, while they pass through Taylorsville on their way to the lake in the late 1990s. David owns a bakery in Louisville, but can’t help envisioning his future in the small Spencer County town. There are no buildings for sale on Main Street, but Young doesn’t lose hope — Taylorsville is just his cup of tea.
