A Taylorsville man was arrested Friday in Shelby County after leading a state trooper on a chase along I-64 that ended in a crash.
Brian Haddix, 58, of Taylorsville, faces multiple charges stemming from the incident.
Friday, at 11:05 p.m., Trooper Jack Hedges stopped to check on a motorist on westbound I-64 in Shelby County. The vehicle’s occupants advised that everything was fine and abruptly drove away, according to a news release from KSP.
Hedges returned to his vehicle and noticed that the occupants left alcohol containers along the side of the roadway.
