Judge denies summary judgement in Charter case

Supporters of the Charter government effort were dealt another blow when the county’s request for a summary judgement was denied recently in Spencer County Circuit Court.

Senior Status Judge Tom McDonald’s decision overruled the county’s request for a ruling without a trial and granted the city’s motion to bifurcate, or separate certain issues in the case for further examination.
