LETTER: Action must be taken to help dogs

I was just appalled at the letter last week from Lois Allen of Taylorsville about the way the dogs in her neighborhood are being treated.

Has anyone reported them to the ASPCA or animal control???  Has your newspaper tried to do anything??

One dog stuck all alone in a back yard and his only shelter is a tree, left out in the cold and rain. Another in a five by five pen way in the back yard in the cold and rain and then the black dog tied in his front yard with a chain.
