The Chamber of Commerce would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make the Chamber’s Christmas on Main a successful event. Thanks to those that weathered the extreme cold including the families who come out year after year and the countless volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you!

We appreciate the donations from local businesses and individuals sent in from our contribution requests. This fund helps Santa get a head start in his toy workshop for next year.

We’d like to thank Bennett’s Hardware, Dollar General Store, Family Dollar and Radio Shack for enabling us to buy locally.

We extend our thanks to Country Mart, Dairy Queen and McDonalds for their donations for the children.

A huge thanks to the Knights of Columbus All Saints Council #14234 and their volunteers. They are always around every corner in our community waiting to give a helping hand!

A special thanks to Jake Ross, Joyce Stevenson, Patrick Stevenson and Keith Thomas.

Thank you to Bill and Will Woodward for getting in tough with Santa and his elf to visit with the children on this special night.

Thank you to Dwight Martin with Plum Creek Rentals for his inflatable, the children’s face painter, Grace In Motion Dance Studio, Melissa Tindle our event photographer and the volunteers who weathered the cold more than others to make sure the children’s games were a success. Thank you Rhonda and Kevin Dockery and Gary Kehne!

Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. Plans are already being made for next year’s Christmas on Main – watch out 2010! Thanks to the residents and businesses of Spencer County. You are what makes this magical event happen!
