LETTER: Compliments to Coach Napper

-A A +A
By The Staff

We would like to commend Coach Wes Napper for getting off to a spectacular start with the high school football team so far this season.

His hard work, perseverance, and vision for his team are obvious in light of winning the season opener as well as obtaining two wins out of the first three games.

He has not hesitated or shown any apprehension in his new role as head football coach of Spencer County. He has jumped right in and taken over with such determination and genuine enthusiasm. He’s definitely shown his capability of remaining calm under pressure in each nail-biting, down-to-the-wire game!

We still vividly remember the days when football was only a dream in Spencer County. So many people have sacrificed their time and money for Spencer County to be where we are today with football.

We highly encourage you to come out on Friday nights and support this team of hard working young men. They put in many hours weekly as they dedicate themselves to the team.

So even if you don’t have a high school student, come on out and cheer them on! Come on out and support them as they proudly represent Spencer County. Their spirit is contagious and whether you know anything about football or not, you’ll soak up the excitement as you cheer them on. These young men as well as Coach Napper deserve huge congratulations.
