Just a slight correction to the “letter to the editor” from Linda Greewell regarding Bill Karrer.
I was the LG&E representive on the massive petition project to provide LG&E Natural Gas to Taylorsville/Spencer County.
The local project champions were Syd Kirsch and Bill Drury. Mr. Drury and I even met with Louisville Water Company representives to obtain approval in installing both the water mains and gas mains in the same construction ditch. This was approved but the gas project never materialized due to the lack of participation from the residents of Tayorsville/Spencer County.
Mr. Karrer was involved but not to the extent of Mr. Drury and Ms. Kirsch.
Just making sure the correct information provided.
