LETTER: Hesselbrock brought needed changes to clerk’s office

What a positive difference just a few months of competent leadership and management can make. Prior to Dec. 1, 2011, the Spencer County Clerk’s Office was suffering from years of mismanagement.
I recently reviewed the Kentucky state auditor’s report of the Spencer County Clerk’s Office that was released in September 2011.  It is a scathing indictment of how poorly the office was managed. I would like to cite just a few of the most glaring notations from the audit which begin on page 17 of the report:
