Hi my name is Amanda Martin and I have had Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes since I was 11 years old. Today I am 14 and a freshman in high school.
I would like to invite you to attend the JDRF (juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s) walk for a cure Saturday, September 13th at Bowman Field/Seneca Park. The registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.
My family and I will be walking and would love to see you there.
If you know of someone who has Juvenile Diabetes, I encourage you to attend and walk for them. This means so much to all of the children who have this disease. You can find more information at jdrf.org and a list of team names of the families.
My team name is “Amanda’s Anchors of Hope” if you would like to walk for me. Please keep all of us in your prayers.
