LETTER: Thanks for help with Elk Creek Benefit

-A A +A

On Sept. 22, we had the inaugural Elk Creek Benefit Event with the American Red Cross/Military Disaster Relief Fund.  We have a great community that we live in and we would like to give a special thank you to the following for their donations and help with putting on this successful event.
Jason Cox did a tremendous job in organizing the car show. Thanks also to all the local businesses who helped, and to Connie Jeffiers, the Spencer County Fair Board, Stacy Carmany, Redemption Hill Baptist Church, Derek Bottoms, Jim Williams, Brent Broyles, Taylorsville Fire Department, Servants Heart Church, David Stevens and Group, James Ransdell, Wayne Cox, Walter Hahn, Lincoln Armes, Jill Whitehouse, Toby Lewis and the Taylorsville Police Department, and Laura Hamburger.
Again, we are truly thankful for all these people and businesses that helped provide for this event.  We had 23 to donate blood and were able to donate more than $600 to the American Red Cross.  We look forward to next year.
