LETTER: Thanks to neighbor for lending a helping hand

Living off the main roads, as many of us do in Spencer County, snow removal has been interesting this winter. Our county road crews can only do so much and many of us on gravel roads or narrow back roads are left to our own imaginations to get rid of the icy stuff. We would like to take the opportunity to send a special thank you to our neighbor, Harold, who gets out on his tractor and clears the hilly road near us. During both past snows, he has been out early and late clearing the pavement. He waves and smiles and seems to enjoy his mission.
