LETTER: The truth about the EDA 'private corporation'

This letter is being written to correct erroneous and misleading comments made in a letter from Carl Darnell that was published in the Spencer Magnet on April 18.
That letter included some comments about what he called the EDA’s “private corporation.” The truth is that our corporation, Economic Development for Spencer County, Inc., is not now, nor was it ever, a part of the county and city Economic Development Authority.
