LETTER: Volunteers, businesses made Progressive Dinner happen

I would like to personally thank everyone that worked so hard to make the Progressive Dinner such a success! Hats off to the volunteers for their tremendous effort.

The following businesses were food host: Scott and Linda Street at the Polk House, The Spencer Magnet, Tea Cup, T&R Antiques, The Red Scooter and the Arts Sanctuary. Thanks to Scott Robinson, owner of Red Headz Salon for his hospitality. Scrumptious desserts compliments of the Spencer County Homemakers and others. Crespos provided the main course, served by the lovely ladies of the Spencer County High School FCCLA. Music provided by Zack Driscoll, John Arstingstall and Luke MacIntosh in the Chamber. Table centerpieces were absolutely beautiful thanks, to Creekside Florist and Gifts, Taylorsville Florist and Gifts and Laurita Aubrey. Irene Goodall and Phyllis Williams provided live plants to add beauty to the building. Beverly Ingram, Lee-Jared Miles, Daisy Jones, Bruce Diegl, Jo Woodward, Kimberly Hester are credited with the beautiful transformation of the Chamber building. Thanks to Kim Stump for the batting and Citizen Union Bank for sharing their photograph of Main Street. Thanks to the Red Scooter for providing guests with copies of Loretta Bivens architectural Main Street poster.
