Working with military and veterans organizations, I have learned a great deal about leadership, dedication, integrity, and commitment. Words such as duty, respect, honor, courage, and selfless service define what these men and women represent.
What we need in our government today are men and women who not only believe in these qualities but live them.
Our privilege to vote is not only a right but our duty as responsible citizens. It has been given to us by the sweat, blood, and even the live of thousands of dedicated heroes who stood up in our place to swear their allegiance to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
Please vote prayerfully, responsibly this November.
There are many good men and women who live by the virtues mentioned above. One that I know through my commitment to our veterans here in Spencer county is Jerry Davis who is a true patriot, a man committed to serve our community with dedication.
Working alongside of him with our veterans and working to defend and protect our community’s animals, I know that he is a man of courage, loyalty, and commitment to do what is right and honorable.
Thank you veterans for your many sacrifices made for our freedom and our right to vote! With God’s wisdom may we each exercise this privilege on Nov. 2.
