LETTER: Where were the police?

Where are the police when you need them? On Thursday, December 30th around 7:15 p.m., I was driving down Taylorsville Lake Road when a car in front of me slowed down suddenly.

I saw that there was a large German Shepherd walking in the road in front of that car. The dog was obviously lost and confused.
As cars approached, I would flicker my lights to alert them to slow down. Traffic started to back up on my side of the street but continued to “fly” down the other side.
