Library board, conservation district levy tax rates

Often the local government boards that bring in the most tax revenue are those that get the most attention around tax time, but there are several special taxing districts in Spencer County that may not be familiar to the taxpayers.
Three of those districts include the Spencer County Public Library Board, the Spencer County Conservation District and the Plum Creek Watershed Conservancy District — which is assisted by the conservation district.
