Local roads to close for work Thursday and Friday

Temporary lane closures on Ky. 44 in Spencer County between the Bullitt/Spencer County line and Saddlebrook Road (mile points 0 and 2) are scheduled for later this week, according to a news release from the Department of Highways District 5 Office.
These lane closures are scheduled for Thursday and Friday to allow for roadway resurfacing.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur, the news release said.
