Local students participate in leadership training

Twenty-three members of the Spencer County FFA chapter participated in the Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center from July 9-13, along with 300 other members from 25 other chapters.  Members participated in weeklong recreational and leadership activities.  Leadership awards were presented to the top 10 percent of the campers and Outstanding Leadership awards were presented to the top 3 percent. Receiving Leadership awards were Jacob Barnett, Darilyn Browning and Mike Dawson. Outstanding leadership awards were given to Marianne Gaddie and Tyler Goodlett.
